Open Submission

Open Directory submission

(aka ODP Project or DMOZ) is a volunteer guide produced for the web. Including a major search engine Google is provided as an option (for a complete list see search engine results page). Given that any site listed with Open Directory can add value.

The good news is that the present is absolutely free. Bad news is that it means a yes or no answer no guarantee that you have accepted about the time change. In fact, any information you receive one way or the other can not.

To submit, again listed in Category "URL" link at the top of that category page will appear to be used to add searching. Fill out form, and it is - you've submitted.

If you are accepted, you should see your site appear within about three weeks. If not, you should resubmit. Note that for some time been a long three weeks due to editorial delays are listed in ODP. In December 2006, ODP that editing "was announced back then" situaion should be back to normal.

As with Yahoo, it is highly recommended that you take time to learn more about before submitting to Open Directory, so that you can get traffic to maximize the amount.
